Contest rules preamble:

In order to use this site, you must agree to the terms stated on this page. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.

Each contest may have it's own rules regarding participation and play. In that case, those rules are specific to that contest, and supercede rules here that are similar or conflict. In areas where those specific contest rules are silent, these rules apply where appropriate.

For the purposes of this Terms of Service, "Teffecx" is described as the owner and publisher of this website. The "user" is described as the site visitors who visit and/or register to use this website.

Game play, participating in games and all related activity refers to anyone with an active account, who has logged into a game, and is posting, rating a post using the various rating mechanisms presented, responding to a post or viewing activity of a game. A player ceases to be active in any and all games when that player has successfully logged out. A persistent login still identifies a player as participating in the game logged into, even if the device(s) the player uses or has used to access games are turned off, the player is not physically near the device(s), or the device(s) are no longer owned or used by the player, as long as that persistent login connection continues to exist.

Definition of terms:

• Company - Teffecx Company and any of its affiliates and subsidiaries.
• Sponsor - Person or company who will provide a Prize or Prizes for Contests in return for promotional and or marketing considerations.
• Contest - Online games, entry forms, or online mechanisms, as well as offline methods, where participants interact these items with for with the purpose of winning a Prize, entertainment or enjoyment, and socialization. Please note that proper participation and Contest play requires adhering to the rules of that Contest. The Company is the final arbiter of Contest rules and the determination of which Contestants are awarded Prizes.
• Prize - A product, service or other tangible considerations awarded to a Contestant or Contestants for participating in a Contest or game during its run and/or after its conclusion, according to the rules of that Contest.
• Contestant - a single person who fills out and submits an entry form, and/or registers, then participates in a Contest that may result in one or more persons or entries being awarded a Prize, or a Contest that provides a competitive experience in which a Prize or Prizes are awarded at the conclusion of that Contest.
• Visitor - Person(s) who view the site but don't necessarily register or participate in a Contest, survey or other Contest/game experiences. Visitors are also bound by these terms of services they use on the areas of the site(s) that apply. For the purposes of viewing Contests, the Visitor may also be referred to and considered a site spectator.

Who Can Enter

Unless otherwise stated, individuals who are 18 years of age of older on the entry date of any contest may participate contests offered by either the Company or its Sponsors.

Open to all contestants residing in the United States of America. Void where prohibited.

The following individuals are NOT eligible to enter contests:

1. Any employee (defined as full-time, part-time, and/or temporary) or contractor of Teffecx Company and its related media properties, websites, or other related businesses;
2. Any employee (defined as full-time, part-time, and/or temporary) or contractor of the participating Sponsor(s), advertising and promotional agencies working in concert with this promotion or contest, and/or respective parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliated companies of each;
3. Any immediate family members of such employees or contractors above, including without limitation current and/or ex-spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws, and/or steps in any of the foregoing categories;
4. Any other individual legally residing in the same household (i.e., at the same address) of such employees or contractors, including without limitation roommates, housemates, significant others, and partners.

How to Enter/Play our Contests:

1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
2. Contests are subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and are void where prohibited.
3. Odds of winning depend upon the how the Contest is conducted. For random drawings, the odds of winning will depend upon the number of entries received.
4. For Contests in which winners are qualified for a random drawing to determine the grand Prize winner, odds will depend on the total number of qualifiers.
5. For Contests of skill that do not involve any element of chance, odds of winning are not applicable.

Additional Contest Terms:

If the Company receives less than the minimum number of Contest entries, whether it be form submissions or posts, within a reasonable period of time as determined by the Company, the Company reserves the right to re-conduct that Contest at a later time or cancel that Contest and not award any Prize associated with that Contest.

For any Contest that involves posting of answers and allows participants to react (icons representing emotions, feeling, words, etc.), only ONE entry per registered Contestant will be considered if entries are used to determine a winner. If an entry has been deleted from the Contest feed, it will not be considered as a valid entry, and may disqualify submission in that particular Contest. Edited and modified entries may also be disqualified as valid Contest entries at the sole discretion of the Company.

The Company may, but will not be obligated to, post online the “in process” tally of Contest results, in intervals determined from time to time by the Company for each Contest as the Company determines. Such posting(s) may be discontinued at any time, may not necessarily be real-time, and may not be relied upon by Contestants as insight, help and/or tips to win any Contest. It is solely for entertainment/excitement purposes.

For Contests that involve posting entries into a Contest feed, the Company reserves the right to end posting to this feed at any time for any reason or no reason.

The use of multiple devices for the purpose of posting rapid entries in succession will be considered a "denial of service" style attack, and that Contestant's entries may be disqualified and their account(s) may be suspended and/or revoked.

The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to implement posting processes from time to time that may frustrate or prohibit rapid and/or automated entry (including, without limitation, CAPTCHA, requiring Contestant log ins or Contestant registrations, advance email address verification procedures, limiting the number of entries/web hits accepted/counted after a maximum number within a specified period of time as established by the Company, which numerical/time limits the Company may decide not to disclose, and/or prohibit any further entries or web traffic from a particular IP address during a particular Contest, period of time or permanently.

Before or during any Contest, the Company reserves the right to install and access cookies, alone or along with other methods, to track web site traffic, entry, posting and/or post reaction frequency, and/or to detect or prohibit automated methods of posting and post reaction, entry or website visits.

Failure to comply with the terms and conditions applicable to Contest entry, including without limitation submitting an incomplete or fraudulent entry, and/or failing to complete the entry process, will result in such entry being disqualified from such Contest. Any individual(s) found to be, or suspected of, tampering with a Contest in any way, including without limitation, making a fraudulent entry, conspiring with or between other Contestants or third parties to change the course of a Contest, skirt rules or affect the winning odds of a particular Contest, as determined solely by the Company, by creating a public hazard, by cheating, by engaging in improper or illegal activity, will be disqualified from participating and/or winning any Prize(s) from that Contest, as applicable, and may be banned from any future participation in any Contest as determined by the Company, at its sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis.

Contestant acknowledges and agrees that all entries and/or entry materials become the property of the the Company and may not be acknowledged and will not be returned.

Note that you would like to receive a winners list for the stated contest. All requests for Contest winner lists must be emailed no earlier than 3 business days after the Contest has concluded but prior to three (3) months after the Contest has been concluded.

For Entering/Winning Online Contests:

Follow the links to the website Contest page and follow enter the instructions as stated by the Contest. Contestants may be required to provide certain contact information, along with any one or more of the following additional requirements:

1. Answering survey questions;
2. Correctly answering trivia questions;
3. Posting responses related to a specific theme
4. Submitting Contestant-generated Content (for essay requirements
5. Answering multiple choice questions

Contestants may be provided with an opportunity to opt-in for membership/participation as part of the entry process or, in the alternative, may be required to become a member/participate in clubs of (for example, email clubs, text clubs, and rewards programs) or to receive solicitations from the Company and/or its Sponsors.

In some contests, a Contestant may be required to register and log in before participating in a Contest. Registration and/or Log is not an automatic entry for a Contest. Our Terms of Service governs the use of registration and logins, and Contestants are limited to one registration/login per person. The registration process and login process is designed, but not limited to the following:

1. Registrants are required to provide truthful information when completing and submitting a registration form
2. Limit one (1) account per email address
3. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a member, the owner of the registered email address will be deemed the person who is the authorized and correct registrant.
4. If a Contestant cancels his/her login account during any Contest in which such Contestant is entered (or was automatically entered), such Contestant may no longer be eligible to win a Prize in such Contest, at the Company’s sole discretion.

The Company reserves the right, but not the obligation, to post some or all entry information and/or materials its website or social networking sites, in whole or in an edited form in the Company’s discretion, as a "featured" entry. Having your entry posted and/or “featured” does NOT mean that the Contestant has won or is likely to win in that Contest. The decision to post or "feature" any such entries is for entertainment purposes only, and is not part of the Contest winner selection process. The Company cannot guarantee that it will be able to view all entries and/or required entry submissions submitted from a technical perspective, even if sent in the appropriate formats required. In the event that the Company is not able to view any entry or entry materials submitted for any technical reason whatsoever, that entry may be disqualified (without notice to the Contestant) and the Company will have no liability or obligation to such Contest with respect to the disqualified entry.

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an online Contestant, the Contestant will the one (1) individual who can demonstrate control over the means by which the entry, post (as a submission is applicable) was submitted to the Company, as applicable:

1. By logging into the Company provided account with the correct user name and password;
2. By evidencing ownership of the phone and/or phone number either from which the Contestant’s text entry was sent to such Contestant;
3. Note that additional documentation and verification may be required to authenticate the proper individual above and beyond the requirements above.

For any Contest that requires Contestants to submit materials such as an essay or other answer that asks for the opinions, thoughts, responses, musings or otherwise from a Contestant, the Contestant must remember that these responses are governed by this site's terms of service, which include prohibitions of the following material as determined by the Company, established law or standards determined solely by the Company:

1. Material deemed indecent, profane, obscene, explicitly sexual, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, libelous, or hateful;
2. Material that is racially, ethnically, or otherwise offensive or objectionable;
3. Material that encourage unlawful behavior;
4. Material that is not wholly owned by the Contestant in response to a Contest
5. Material that infringes upon the brand names, trade-marks, trade names, logos, or any other intellectual property that may belong to a third party;
6. Material that discloses any detailed personal, physical, contact, or otherwise confidential information that may belong to a third party.

Depending upon the type of Contest, the means of entry, and the entry information provided/required, the Company may contact Contestant(s), Qualifier(s), winner(s), and/or grand Prize winner(s) by phone, by mail, telephone, socia media, email, text message, and/or in person, as applicable. The Company will only be required to leave one voicemail message, send one email, send one text message, send one direct message on social media, and/or make one public posting on social media. The Company reserves the right, but not the obligation, to attempt to contact any Contestant(s), Qualifier(s), Contest winner(s), and/or grand Prize winner(s) more than once, at its sole discretion, and will not be required to attempt to contact Contestant(s), Qualifier(s), winner(s), and/or grand Prize winner(s) an equal number of times or in the same manner.

The Company will be the sole arbiter in all matters relating to the Contest, including without limitation, Contest entries and in the interpretation of Contest rules. All decisions by the Company will be final and may not be appealed. Entry into Contests constitutes agreement by the Contestants to abide by these rules, as well as any other rules established by the Company.

Prize(s) will be released to Contest winners only. Prizes not claimed within thirty (30) business days of being advised by the Company that the Prize is available, or in the case of a time sensitive Prize within its period of usability if shorter than 30 business days, will be considered forfeited without notice to the winning Contestant.

No potential winner of any Contest will be entitled to receive any Prize until the Company has verified such potential winner’s Contest eligibility and compliance with the Contest rules and until such potential winner has completed and submitted all documents required by the Company. In order to receive any Prize, Contest winners may be required to present a valid government issued photo ID, to provide a valid social security number, and/or to provide or complete and sign any other documents required by the Company, including without limitation, one or more liability release agreements relieving the Company, its parent and affiliates and their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, Contest sponsors and others from any and all liability with respect to the Contestant’s participation in the Contest and the receipt and/or use of the Prize. Any Contest winner or Prize awardee who refuses to present a valid government issued photo ID, to provide a valid social security number, and/or to provide or complete and sign any other documents required by the Company by the deadline required by the Company will forfeit any and all Prizes. The Company reserves the right to examine identification and may reasonably choose to accept or deny awarding the Prize based on the identification presented.

In the event that any Contestant(s), Contest Qualifier(s), Contest winner(s) and/or grand Prize winner(s), as applicable, is disqualified from a Contest for any reason permitted by the applicable Contest rules at any point in time (before or after a Contest winner is determined): (i) Teffecx Company and/or Sponsor(s) will in no way be obligated to notify any such individual(s) of such disqualification or forfeiture, (ii) the Company will NOT be obligated to select an alternative Contest Qualifier, Contest winner, and/or Contest grand Prize winner, as applicable, and may instead elect to retain any associated Prize(s) as its own property and/or dispose of any such Prize(s) in any way it sees fit outside of, or within, the scope of the Contest, or return the Prize(s) to the Sponsor(s).

Any Prize that is awarded in the form of a gift certificate or gift card, the use and/or redemption of such certificate or card may be subject to additional terms and restrictions, including without limitation expiration date, specific locations at which such certificate or card may be redeemed, may be based on availability and may include black-out periods, restrictions or excluded items (i.e., tax, tips, alcoholic beverage, or goods from a particular manufacturer). Gift certificates are only redeemable at the locations for which they are specified.

Except by the Company, which reserves the right to substitute a Prize or Prize portion with another Prize or Prize portion of greater or equal value, Prize(s) may not be redeemed for cash, substituted, transferred or assigned, except as may be determined by the Company at its sole and absolute discretion on a case-by-case basis. Contest winners are prohibited from selling any Prize awarded or transferring any Prize without the Company’s authorization, which authorization must be in writing by a Company representative and will be granted or withheld in the Company’s sole discretion on a case by case basis. In the event that the Company discovers or suspects (correctly or incorrectly) that a Contest winner is attempting to sell his/her Prize from the Company (i.e., eBay, Craigslist, StubHub, or otherwise), the Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, on a case by case basis to take any one or more of the following actions: (a) immediately disqualify the Contest winner and deem any Prize they were otherwise entitled to as forfeited; (b) refuse to award the Prize to such Contest winner, even if he/she represents that they will not resell or transfer the Prize; and/or (c) prohibit the violating Contest winner from participating and/or winning any future Contests, whether for a fixed period of time or in perpetuity, in the Company’s sole discretion, and if such Contest winner ever wins a future Contest during the period that he/she is banned, he/she will be disqualified from the Contest and forfeit any Prize once it has come to the Company’s attention. Further, the Company reserves the right to track and/or cancel and invalidate any Prize awarded that the Company suspects was sold or transferred without authorization.

Contestant winners are responsible for paying all applicable local, county, state and federal taxes on Prizes based on the estimated retail value of the Prize, as set forth in the Contest rules, and may be issued an IRS Form-1099 for all Prizes won from Company in any calendar year where the aggregate value of all such Prizes is $600 or more.

Other Rules that May Apply to Contests:

The Company may or may not respond to inquiries by Contestants or potential Contestants regarding the status of their entry and/or to questions about a Contest, regardless of the means by which such inquiry is made, and Teffecx Company is not obligated to respond to, or to treat, all such inquiries identically (even if the question is identical). Time considerations and/or volume, among other things, may impact the Companys’ desire or ability to respond to such inquiries from time to time. Notwithstanding anything that may be communicated by any Company employee in connection with any such inquiry, the sole determining source for information related to a particular Contest will be the rules for such particular Contest, and any information communicated by a Company employee(s) will neither be binding on the Company nor be deemed to be providing any type of improper assistance or advantage to any particular Contestant over another. Any attempt by Teffecx Company to respond to an inquiry will be in the context of providing good customer service only and, in some instances, to address technical issues/problems.

Participation in a Contest and/or acceptance of Prize(s) constitutes consent by Constant and/or the Constant’s (and by Constant’s guest(s) if applicable) for the Company or its agents:

1. to interview the Contestant and/or winner(s) (and winner’s guest(s), if applicable);
2. to photograph, film, and record (audio and/or video) Contestant and/or winner(s) (and winner’s guest(s), if applicable);
3. to use in commerce and in any medium now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity and without payment of any compensation or additional consideration: his/her name, hometown (city and state), biographic information, likeness, photograph, audio or video recording, Entry Materials, Prize information (if any), and/or any statements made by him/her regarding the the Company, the Promotion, and/or its Sponsor(s) for purposes of trade, publicity, or promotion without notice or additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law.

Participation in a Contest and/or acceptance of Prize(s) constitutes agreement by Constant and/or winner (and by winner’s guest(s) if applicable) release, forever discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, parents, assigns, successors, employees, participating Sponsors, agents and all others connected with them and the promotion, Contest, and/or event from any and all liability, claims, actions, and damages sustained or incurred by participation in the said promotion, Contest, and/or event and the receipt and use of any Prize(s) awarded (if any) through such promotion, Contest, and/or event arising in any manner whatsoever, including but not limited to an act or omission, whether negligent, intentional or otherwise caused by the Company, its affiliates, parents, assigns, successors, employees, sponsors, agents and all others connected with them and the promotion, Contest, and/or event. In the event that the associated Contest is administered by the Company (in whole or in part) via a social media platform (including but not limited to, the Company's platforms that it owns and/or operates, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), the Constant understands and agrees that the foregoing liability release and indemnification in this will also include the release and indemnification of any social media entity by Contestant in the same manner in which the Company is released and indemnified.

The Company is not responsible for:

1. Typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering, or the administration of a Contest or in the announcement of a Prize;
2. Incorrect or inaccurate information, human error, failure, or omission;
3. Unauthorized human intervention;
4. Entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties and other technological problems poor signals or signal interference, accidental disconnection, equipment malfunctions, and any other technological failures of any kind;
5. Any part of a Contest cannot be conducted and/or if a Prize, either in whole or in part, cannot be awarded due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, acts of terrorism, or other factors beyond the Company's control.

If for any reason a Contest cannot be executed as planned, including but not limited to, as a result of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the the Company and its' Sponsors, that may corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, or if the Contest is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Company reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend, and/or modify the Contest without prior notice. If the Contest is terminated before the original end date, the Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion to, to modify the procedure for selecting winners, unless the nature of the event giving rise to such termination renders it impossible to select winner(s).
