Favorite Song Friday is a music trivia game. A theme is presented based on either words in the song title or in the name of the artist(s)/groups. You will be asked to name both the song and artist/group who published the song. While optional, it is always nice to record a Youtube, Vevo or other online video for others to enjoy the song that you are posting.
Sometimes the game becomes a contest with prizes awarded based on contest rules and other criteria.
Most of all, your old and new songs, ones that remind you of something that just happened recently, or long ago, and the camaraderie you share with those playing the games, are what makes Favorite Song Friday special, and participants coming back every week for the latest them and music posts.
On our website, Favorite Song Friday is a music trivia game contest. We provide contests several times annually, and award prizes based on the criteria and contest rules we set. These contests will almost always feature a prize, sponsored by us and/or partners.
In these contests, you will fill out a form based on the criteria asked as described by the theme question. Contest rules, site regulations and our privacy policy will guide additional elements of contest play.
On Facebook, Favorite Song Friday is a music trivia game played weekly. A theme is presented based on either words in the song title or the name of the artist(s)/groups who have recorded a song based on the theme word(s).
We have two versions of our Favorite Game Friday on Facebook. Our Public Facebook Page is for our general audience, and is generally open for play when we offer contestants prizes.
Our second version of our Favorite Game Friday on Facebook is a private page for our players looking for more intimate and community experience. It is a private group, and you have to request membership to join it. It is moderated and monitored to ensure a more exclusive experience. It can be accessed Private Facebook Group Page. As a private member, you are invited to participate in our contests for prizes, and may get earlier notifications than the general public when they occur.
